This page explains how to request deletion of your Petteia account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the Petteia app and the online service operated by Sameer Maldar.
How to request account deletion
You can request that your account and its associated data be permanently deleted in either of these ways:
- By email (available to everyone): send a message to thisdelivery@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account", and include your Petteia username. We will verify the request and delete your account.
- In the app (where available): open Petteia, go to your account settings, and choose the account-deletion option, then confirm. If you cannot find this option in your version of the app, please use the email method above.
We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove or irreversibly anonymise the personal data linked to it, including:
- Your account details (email address and password).
- Your profile information.
- Your friends list and social connections.
- Your private messages and any personal identifiers.
- Your rating and personal gameplay history as linked to your identity.
What may be kept, and for how long
Some limited information may be retained after account deletion, only where necessary:

Once retention periods expire, or the legal basis for keeping the data ends, the remaining data is deleted.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
If you want to remove specific information (for example, a forum post or profile detail) without deleting your whole account, email thisdelivery@gmail.com describing what you would like removed, and we will action reasonable requests where we are able to.
