End User License Agreement
Petteia — The Mother of Chess
1. Licence
Subject to your agreement to this End User License Agreement and our Terms & Conditions, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the Petteia application on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment.
2. What you may not do
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent the law expressly permits.
- Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the app.
- Use the app to break the law, infringe rights, or interfere with the service or other users.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices.
3. Ownership
The app, the game, its artwork, the Petteia name, and all related intellectual property are owned by Sameer Maldar or its licensors. This licence does not transfer ownership of anything to you.
4. Updates
We may provide updates, which may be required for the app to keep working. This EULA covers updates unless a separate agreement accompanies them.
5. Termination
This licence ends automatically if you breach it or our Terms. On termination you must stop using and delete the app.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. App-store terms
If you obtained the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store, that store's terms also apply, and the store is not responsible for the app.
8. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
